This music was composed in collaboration with an exhibition displaying the Nobel Peace Prize 2015 at the Swedish Nobelmuseum. The music was inspired by The Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet. A decision meant to honor the quest for democracy in the nation that gave birth to the Arab Spring as well as urge it on at a time when its still-tenuous gains are increasingly under threat.

Nobel Peace Prize 2015

2015.12 - 2016.03/ Nobel museum/ Stockholm,Sweden

毎年12月にストックホルムで開催されるノーベル賞授賞式。ガムラスタンのノーベル博物館内では特別展示が開かれ、約3ヶ月間展示されるノーベル平和賞部門の音楽製作。前夜祭で博物館内で生演奏を行った。

ノーベル平和賞は、チュニジア労働総同盟(UGTT)、チュニジア産業連合(UTICA)、チュニジア人権連盟(LTDH)、チュニジア弁護士協会(ONAT)の4つの民間団体の連合体である、チュニジア国民対話カルテット(QDN)が受賞。内乱の淵に陥りかけていたチュニジアの民主化に寄与したことが評価され受賞に至る。

 

" May we dare to dream? " 

曲全体で歴史上の偉人達が残した様々な「平和」に関する格言を疑問系で投げかけ、聴き手それぞれがそれらの答えについて、またそれぞれが思い描く平和や正義が違うことから生まれてしまう争いの問題について、再考して欲しいという願いを込めた。歌、ピアノ、バイオリン、ドラムを主に、カノン技法を用い、4つの団体が構成していく様を表現。民衆の声、デモ、砂漠や風、様々な生活音を取り入れて、遠い国で起きていることが自身の身近な生活に繋がっているということに気づかせられる作品を目指す。

特別展示の開催期間は2015年3月1日まで、平和賞を含め他6部門において、それぞれの賞をイメージする音楽と芸術作品が展示された。
